If you would like me to produce an artwork from your photographs, send me some images to look at and a brief description of the the portrait you would like. I can paint or draw most subjects in a variety of mediums, but specialise in portraits.
If you have a deadline, let me know immediately (but please do not expect me to be able to complete commissions at short notice). I don't rattle-off sketches in a few minutes: my drawings and paintings normally take at least two long days to complete.
I will provide honest help and advice, and talk you through options, such as the most suitable media for your portrait with absolutely no hard sell.
If I feel your reference photographs have aesthetic or technical problems, which limit the excellence of the portrait I can produce, I will suggest that you do not proceed with a commission: I would prefer to retain my "professional integrity" rather than produce inferior quality artwork.
