The following is an overview.

Payment for services

If you wish to proceed with a commission, I will ask you to pay 50% non-refundable down payment before I start work on your portrait. This is payment for services.

Completion of artwork

It may take several weeks to complete your portrait, depending upon my work load, but I will keep you informed about progress.

I will give you the opportunity to approve my work via on-line scans . If you decide to proceed with a purchase, only then will I request payment of the balance due. This is payment for goods, and you have the absolute right to reject those goods if you are not happy with the finished artwork.

Dispatch

Once payment is received, your artwork will be mounted (UK only) and posted. You will be informed about dispatch of your portrait and the expected delivery date.

In the unlikely event that you are not happy once you have seen your portrait in-the-flesh, let me know within seven working days. I will refund your purchase price (i.e. money paid for goods), and postage costs on receipt of the returned picture.
